Identification solutions based on fingerprint biometrics
Enrolment efficiency
The stage of enrolment involving scanning of fingerprints plays a vital role in the optimal operation of the end process of identification. Our participation in the European VIS project has compelled us to specialise in this stage.

The segmentation function used to separate the four fingerprints of the image is a vital technique to reduce enrolment times while maintaining the quality and reliability of the system.
The procedure also involves preventing transposition of fingerprints when the quality of one or more of them is lacking and managing amputations or impediments owing to injury.
Quality
The aim is to achieve maximum quality in the shortest space of time possible with minimal disruption for individuals. We work with our clients to apply the best practices ensuring the best enrolment. We implement ISO and NFIQ-1 quality controls and are currently incorporating new technology based on classification using neural networks to diagnose the possible causes of low quality of a fingerprint so we can provide more information to the operator about the cause of this low quality.

- Operator:
- We provide training material and staff are on hand for implementation and training all over the globe.
- Software:
- We manufacture our solutions and are constantly innovating in identifying the reasons for poor quality in order to rectify the capture with greater efficiency.
- Hardware:
- We offer interoperability and enable technological advances to be integrated.
Reliability and security guaranteed
Field testing, experience in major projects such as the VIS or EAC passport projects and the huge volume of fingerprints handled are a shining example of the reliability and security we offer as required by any biometric identification system.

The foundation for this reliability is an optimal system for capturing fingerprints.
Kiosk for self-assisted multi-biometric capture (Kiosk plug&play)
Easy integration: Plug&play
We cooperate with hardware manufacturers to customise kiosks in order to meet each specific need.
A kiosk is a compact solution that merely requires an electrical connection and can become a work space in itself with self-assistance function.

All elements are integrated with a double screen for the operator and the citizen, with information as required in each case. When the user observes the enrolment process, the quality of the captures is improved both in the case of photographs and fingerprints.
Optimisation of enrolment times and resources: 4 times the enrolment capacity.
Setting up kiosk stations can entail a 400% increase in biometric enrolment capacity per operator.

Our kiosk-based biometric enrolment solution allows for easy integration with the web management application as it integrates web services to communicate. Accordingly, the management application can open an enrolment monitoring page and control it when needed.
An operator can remotely control up to 4 stations. Such solutions also provide remote control for device maintenance (tele-test) and the compiling of statistics on operation.
Proven experience
Kiosk mode solutions have been implemented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation and the Ministry of Home Affairs for the enrolment of fingerprints and face recognition in the context of the European VIS project for the Spanish government.

Spanish ports and airports have visa issuance offices with limited territorial application that require biometric enrolment. In these cases, the tools are desktop stations where the police monitor the sessions. In both cases, information is saved in an ANSI NIST file and is forwarded to the Spanish central services who record the data and report it to the common European system.
This solution has been designed and developed by BioIdenti-Cell.
Web services API integrated and remotely managed: monitoring, control, maintenance and statistics.

Success stories
Visas
Since 2011, the countries in the Schengen area have implemented a common visa management system which requires the ten fingerprints. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation and BioIdenti-Cell have developed the project in Spain. BioIdenti-Cell has also worked with the Ministry of Home Affairs for the implementation of kiosk stations for the enrolments carried out at Spanish borders. Read more
Pay on the move
The emergence of mobile devices with fingerprint readers paves the way to the development of e-commerce solutions with fingerprint authentication. We build customised apps for this industry.
- We integrate hardware from manufacturers with apps to build vertical solutions for payment of meals and drinks in hotels-resorts
- APIs for integrating Apple Pay technology in e-commerce apps.
Passports
The EAC passport requires two fingerprints. GEYCE Biometrics has developed for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation the entire consular management system, fingerprint capture systems, data transmission and centralisation to improve the centralised issuance of booklets and their submission to Spanish citizens living abroad. Mobile police identification
We build apps which integrate wireless capture devices and which can be integrated in web services in order to run personal checks during a police investigation
